Layout Description
Upgrading to Town Hall level 12 marks a monumental shift in Clash of Clans, as for the first time, the Town Hall itself becomes an active, powerful defense. This level introduces Siege Machines, a new class of offensive tool that revolutionizes how players approach attacking and funneling troops. The upgrade costs 8,500,000 Gold and takes 14 days. The Town Hall transforms into a magnificent blue and gold fortress, crackling with electric energy from the Giga Tesla hidden within.
Key Unlocks: A Weaponized Town Hall and a New Workshop
TH12 is defined by its powerful new buildings that change the core mechanics of both offense and defense.
- Giga Tesla: The signature feature of TH12. When you upgrade your Town Hall, it is automatically equipped with a Giga Tesla. This massive hidden tesla emerges from the Town Hall when an attacker gets close or deals a certain percentage of damage to the base. It can target multiple ground and air units simultaneously. Upon reaching its final upgrade level (Level 5), the Giga Tesla releases a powerful destruction bomb when the Town Hall is destroyed, dealing immense damage to everything in a large radius.
- Siege Workshop (x1): This essential new building allows you to construct Siege Machines. These are special offensive units that carry your Clan Castle troops directly into the heart of an enemy's base, providing a powerful new way to deploy reinforcements. It costs 2,800,000 Elixir to build.
- Additional Defenses: You can build another Inferno Tower, bringing your total to three (in the Home Village), a Hidden Tesla, and several new traps, creating an incredibly potent defensive setup.
- Additional Walls (x50): A large influx of wall segments is provided to help protect your new defensive structures and further fortify your base against elite armies.
New Offensive Potential: Siege Machines and the Hairy Hitter
Your attacking capabilities are completely revolutionized by Siege Machines and a powerful new troop.
- Siege Machines: These are built in the Siege Workshop and can be chosen before an attack begins.
- Wall Wrecker: A durable ground machine that plows directly towards the enemy Town Hall, smashing through any walls in its path.
- Battle Blimp: A fast but fragile airship that also travels directly towards the enemy Town Hall, dropping bombs along the way.
- Stone Slammer: A heavy-duty airship that targets defensive structures, dropping massive stones that deal splash damage and cause earthquakes to further damage walls and buildings.
- Yeti: Unlocked in the Barracks, the Yeti is a powerful ground troop with a unique two-stage attack. He directly attacks his target, while smaller Yetimites periodically jump from his back to attack other nearby defenses. When the Yeti is defeated, all remaining Yetimites are released at once.
- Invisibility Spell: A new Dark Spell that renders all troops within its radius completely invisible and untargetable by defenses for a short time.

Town Hall 12 fundamentally changes the game by making the Town Hall a primary objective and a deadly threat.
- On Offense: Attacks are now built around the use of Siege Machines. Do you use a Wall Wrecker to create a perfect path for your ground army to the Town Hall? Or a Battle Blimp to send a payload of Balloons or Super Wizards directly onto the Giga Tesla? The choice of Siege Machine dictates the entire flow of the attack. Strategies like "Yeti Smash" or "Hybrid" (Miners and Hog Riders) become incredibly powerful, especially when supported by the Grand Warden and a well-planned Siege Machine deployment.
- On Defense: For the first time, protecting your Town Hall is absolutely critical. Leaving it exposed is a recipe for disaster. Base building is now focused on creating "anti-siege" layouts that try to path the Wall Wrecker away from the core or have well-placed air traps to destroy a Battle Blimp. The Giga Tesla's explosion adds a new layer of terror, as attackers must plan how to deal with the massive damage burst even after they destroy the Town Hall. The addition of a third Inferno Tower makes the core of a TH12 base exceptionally deadly.
