Layout Description
Upgrading to Town Hall level 10 plunges players into the heart of high-level gameplay, defined by the iconic and fearsome Inferno Tower. This level introduces powerful new defenses and troops that demand a higher level of precision and strategic planning. The upgrade costs 4,000,000 Gold and takes 14 days to complete. The Town Hall itself becomes a formidable fortress, featuring a molten lava theme with flowing lava atop its towers and a fiery gate.
Key Unlocks: The Devastating Inferno Tower
TH10 is renowned for its game-changing new defensive structures that can single-handedly stop unprepared armies.
- Inferno Tower (x2): The signature defense of TH10. The Inferno Tower is a powerful defense that can be set to two distinct modes:
- Single-Target: Fires a single, focused beam of energy that rapidly ramps up its damage over time. This mode is incredibly effective at melting high-health targets like Golems, Lava Hounds, P.E.K.K.A.s, and Heroes.
- Multi-Target: Fires beams at multiple targets (up to five) simultaneously. While it doesn't ramp up, it deals consistent damage to groups of low-to-mid health troops like Miners, Hog Riders, or Balloons and, crucially, prevents all healing on any troops it targets.
- Additional X-Bow (x1): A third X-Bow adds another layer of high-damage, rapid-firing defense to your core.
- Additional Cannon & Archer Tower (x1 each): Further bolstering your point-defense capabilities.
- Additional Giant Bomb & Air Bomb (x1 each): More traps to help defend against complex ground and air attacks.
- Additional Walls (x25): These wall segments are crucial for creating compartments to protect your two new Inferno Towers.
New Offensive Potential: Masters of Subterranean and Siege Attacks
Your attacking options expand with unique troops that can bypass walls or reshape the battlefield entirely.
- Miner: A durable ground troop that travels underground, making him immune to all damage while moving between buildings. He targets any building, and when he surfaces to attack, he is vulnerable. Miners are excellent for overwhelming bases with spread-out single-target defenses.
- Bowler: A powerful Dark Elixir troop that throws a massive boulder that bounces once, hitting a second target behind the first. This "double strike" mechanic makes him fantastic for clearing out long lines of buildings and funneling other troops into the base.
- Clone Spell: A high-cost Elixir spell that creates a circle on the battlefield. Any troops that walk into this circle are duplicated up to a certain housing space limit. These cloned troops have full health but only last for a short time, allowing for massive, high-risk, high-reward burst attacks.

Strategic Implications
Town Hall 10 is a major strategic turning point. The presence of two Inferno Towers completely changes how bases are attacked.
- On Offense: Brute-force tanking strategies that worked at TH9 are no longer viable against Single-Target Infernos. Players must adapt to use "swarm" strategies like mass Miner ("Queen-Walk Miners") or mass Hog Riders to overwhelm the defenses. Alternatively, precision attacks like "BoWitch" (Bowlers and Witches) or "LavaLoon" become more powerful, requiring skillful use of spells like Rage and Freeze to navigate the powerful new defenses. The extra spell slot is a huge advantage, allowing for more complex spell combinations.
- On Defense: Base building revolves entirely around the Inferno Towers. You must decide whether to use them in Single-Target mode to stop Heroes and tanks or Multi-Target mode to counter swarm attacks and prevent healing. Creating "anti-3-star" bases with offset Town Halls, well-protected Infernos, and clever trap placements is the primary goal. A well-designed TH10 base can be incredibly difficult for even other TH10s to defeat, making defensive strategy more important than ever.
